May I use the Hyundai Protection Plan warranty at any Hyundai dealership?

Yes, Hyundai H.P.P. is accepted at Hyundai dealerships in the USA.

Is Hyundai Protection Plan transferable?

Yes, for a transfer fee you can transfer your contract to another person (private party) to give them added confidence. Coverage is transferable from private party to private party, through the life of the contract. The fee varies by state.

Why should I buy an extended warranty when my Hyundai is still under warranty?

The Hyundai Protection Plan extends coverage beyond (more years & miles) your original factory warranty. Due to a tiered pricing structure, the earlier you buy the extended warranty the lower the cost. These HPP extended warranty plans start at time of purchase.

May I finance the cost of a Hyundai HPP contract?

Yes. With our 0% 12-Payment Plan, a monthly payment can be automatically charged to your VISA, MasterCard or Discover Card. Ask your warranty representative for details.

What if my Hyundai has over 35,000 miles?

If your Hyundai has over 35,000 miles, HPP's administrator will only accept applications if they are purchased with an onsite inspection. You will have to bring it in for an inspection.

When will my Hyundai Warranty Start and End?

Your warranty starts at the date of purchase. This occurs after the contract is signed, returned and entered into Hyundai?s system. An example: If your Hyundai has 30000 miles and you buy the 6 yr / 72k miles Plan on a "certain day" 2009. You will be covered until you either reach 102,000 miles or until "certain day" 2015. Whichever occurs first, mileage or time.

Which Hyundai HPP plan is suggested for my Hyundai?

The number of components covered will effectively categorize HPP plans. Buyers make their HPP plan choice based on which components they want covered... versus the cost of the plan.
